Interior Design

As a professional freelance interior designer, GMDAC offers the following scope of services:

Programming

GMDAC will interview client to determine the space analysis, functional services requirements and other similar data. GMDAC will carry out site investigation to make sure the space acquire by the client meet the functional requirement.

Schematic Design

Based on programming information gathered, space planning layouts are reviewed with the Client and others Consultants to achieve optimum space utility. Different concepts and design approaches are discussed to determine the desired image the Client intends to achieve.

Design Development

After schematic design and concepts are finalized, the development stage commences wherein construction/detail drawings are prepared. Materials and finishes for the various areas are established with the Client.

Contract Development

At this point, tender documents are developed, firm quotations are requested from direct suppliers of finishing materials and proposals are obtained from building nominated services sub-contractors.  After the Client approvals, purchase orders are released to "freeze" unit rates and prevent cost escalation during construction.

Contract Administration

Close control is provided to ensure that the overall design and details are carried out as intended. Upon client "move- in" or "practical completion", GMDAC develops a "defects list" to be implemented within a specified period of time for the contractor to rectify the works. 

Art Program

GMDAC will assist the client to establishing the right "theme" of art work for the premises.  GMDAC will works with the Client's art committee, if any or recommend art consultant for the selection of appropriate art works to suit the overall interior colour scheme.

Maintenance Program

CGMDAC shall develop a system where all maintenance procedures recommended by the various finishing suppliers are collated into an effective program for general upkeep and future refurnishing.
